Research Ethics and Institutional Review Board (IRB) Operations, will be held on Thursday-Friday,1-2 December 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The training will be conducted in English.
Delegates will be nominated from institutions involved in research supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the US. This training is designed specifically for IRB and Ethics Committee (EC) members.
The training will cover basic principles behind the ethics regulations for research with human subjects, the role and responsibilities of IRBs as well as training in IRB administrative management. The two day training will incorporate lecture, group exercises, case studies, examples and practical templates.
